Have you ever wondered what your local charity is up to? Wonder no more! At SSISC, we have two distinct ‘seasons’ of work. There’s the summer season, when we have a big field team removing and monitoring invasive plants in the Sea to Sky. We also run many volunteer programs, including the Crab Team and Banish Burdock. This is a hectic time but also so fun!
Then there’s the rest of the year when the Sea to Sky is sometimes snowy and invasive plants are not necessarily actively growing. During the off-season, we slow our role on invasive plant removal and monitoring. Our volunteer programs take a pause and we… hover over the images to find out!
