Beautiful Views from the Field
Fieldwork isn’t always easy, but hopefully the chance to explore—and help protect—these beautiful places makes it all worthwhile.

Our field crew members have been spending their days surrounded by stunning views, lush landscapes, and amazing wildlife. No two days in the field are ever the same!

We asked each crew member to share one of their favourite spots they’ve worked at recently. Read on to see their picks!

Can you believe it’s August already?

At SSISC, we’ve made the most of our summer so far. We’d like to say a huge thank you to our hardworking crew for powering through sweltering heat, pouring rain, and everything in between. Let’s keep the momentum going for the rest of the season!

We humbly acknowledge that we live and work on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Squamish, Musqueam, Tsleill-Waututh nations, as well as the unceded territories of the southern Statliem communities of the Lil’Wat, N’Quatqua, Samahquam, Skatin and Xa’xtsa nations.
