Banish Burdock 2025 Comes to an End

Last month, we wrapped up Banish Burdock for 2025 – and what a fantastic season it was!

As fall settles in, Banish Burdock, our popular volunteer program, has once again come to a close, marking our most successful year yet. With 43 dedicated participants, we doubled our number of volunteers and adopted 31 sections of the Valley Trail sections – a new record for this program!

In addition to our amazing volunteers, we also hosted three burdock-focused weed pulls in the Sea to Sky region (two in Whistler, and one in Pemberton), which boasted 32 participants!

Check out our weed pull recaps below:

All the Burdock Memes

Goodbye (for now)!

That’s it for 2025, but we’ll be back next spring! If you’d like to volunteer with us next year, please sign up as a volunteer and we’ll notify you as soon as sign ups open!

In the meantime, here are some resources to keep your knowledge sharp:

See you next year!
