On Earth Day (April 22), we invited the Squamish nature-loving community to join the Squamish River Watershed Society and us at Rose Park to learn about the local flora and remove unwanted invasive plants, like pesky Yellow Lamium and English Ivy.
We want to thank the 10 volunteers that turned up and offered their time and energy. Together, we filled 9 big garbage bags with plant material, which was quite the feat!
The Squamish Chief also wrote an article about the event – you can read it on their site.
