SSISC was recently in the news in the Squamish Chief, as the local newspaper published a piece about the upcoming Seedy Sunday event organized by the Squamish Climate Action Network.
The event, taking place on March 15, will include a seed swap for gardeners, as well as the opportunity for the public to meet local seed growers, vendors, small-scale farmers and environmental non-profit organizations (like SSISC!). There will also be presentations by local businesses and organizations, including a talk by local beekeeper Nic Butler, and one given by yours truly on Squamish’s Most Wanted – you won’t want to miss it!
You can read the article here. For more information about Squamish CAN’s Seedy Sunday, please refer to the Facebook event.
