Why Remove English Ivy?

English ivy is an aggressive, evergreen climbing vine that threatens our environment by forming dense monocultures that outcompete native species.

Its rapid growth not only disrupts local ecosystems but also causes structural damage as it climbs and spreads over buildings, trees, and other infrastructure.

What to Bring:

  • A packed lunch
  • Gardening gloves and tools (if you have them – we have some you can borrow!)
  • Enthusiasm for making a difference!
