The inner workings of plants were a mystery to humans for thousands of years. We are still searching for the answers to how they are able to do some of the things that they do, but we know a lot more now than we once did. All of this research has shown us just how complicated plants really are! However, unless you have specifically gone to school to learn about plants’ inner workings, you may still be curious about how plants work.
This series of blog posts goes through some of the bigger questions that you may have about how plants work and breaks them down so they are easy to follow. It also uses invasive species found in the Sea to Sky as examples of these concepts, as many invasive species are perfectly adapted to be very destructive to our local biodiversity.
